I received my degree at Truman State University.  I have my masters in elementary education.

I love to teach third grade because I love watching my students grow as learners and as people.  I feel privileged to be a part of helping children change for the better.

In my spare time I enjoy boating, swimming, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

My husband, Troy, and I have been married for fifteen years. We have two daughters. Megan is in 7th grade and Ashley is in 5th grade.  We like to spend time on the lake and going to all of the girls’ activities.  We also have a dog named Leo and a bearded dragon named Marty.

A little bit about me you might find interesting:  I am fluent in French and I am in charge of the French Club at Hawthorn.  This is currently my 16^th year in education.
