Class Taught: Reading Lab

I have been in education 39 years and have been teaching reading at Oak Ridge 14 years. I received my Degree from University of Northern Iowa in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career in Iowa and South Dakota. After teaching twenty years in Colorado, I retired and came to live at the Lake. When I was in high school I played basketball and golf. I have four children and nine grandchildren.  I love teaching reading and inspiring students to enjoy good books. Something people don't know about me is that my father was a teacher, and my brothers, sisters, and daughters are teachers as well. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, wave-runners and traveling to visit my grandchildren.
