My family relocated to the Lake from Michigan in 2009. I was a special education teacher in Michigan for 19 years and my husband, Steve, was a Detective Lieutenant for the Michigan State Police for 23 years. We have three boys, Brendan, Trevor, and Luke who attend Camdenton Schools. I worked at Michigan School for 19 years.

I love working with kids and making sure their needs are met. I also love working with teachers and doing what I can to help solve problems.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University and a Master's Degree in Reading and an endorsement in Learning Disabilities from Oakland University in Michigan.

My hobbies are reading, going to my boy's soccer games and spending time on the lake, riding jetskis.
