I currently teach first grade at Osage Beach Elementary. This is my 3rd year of teaching, 2nd year teaching first grade.
I graduated from KU (Rock Chalk!) in 2008, with my BS in elementary education. I graduated again from KU (GO HAWKS!!) in 2010 with my Master's in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in reading.
I spent most of my life growing up in Kansas, but the switch to "Lake Living" has been fun! I spend a lot of time hiking, biking, shopping,reading and spending time with my 'spaz-tastic puppy', Colby Jack, a 4 year old yorkie-chihuahua mix.
My goal is to create and foster a love of learning within your child and inspire them to continue to learn.
