    Chris McElyea is currently serving his 8th year on the Board of Education.  Mr. McElyea is a life-long resident of Camdenton and graduated from Camdenton High School.  He received his degree in Personal Finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia. After graduation, Mr. McElyea went to work for Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks where he now serves as a Vice President/Branch Manager.  Mr. McElyea has completed his Board Member training required by the Missouri School Board Association (MSBA).  He has served on many boards in the lake area such as the Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce where he served as President.
     
    Mr. McElyea has two children who attend Camdenton.  Bailey is a senior in 2016-2017.  She is active in volleyballl.  Tommy is in the sixth grade in 2016-2017.  He, like his sister, is very active in sports and is looking forward to the day that he will be able to play for the Lakers.

    Nancy Masterson is currently serving her 20th year on the Camdenton Board of Education and is the Vice-President of the board.  Mrs. Masterson serves on the Missouri School Board Association (MSBA) Region 8 executive committee focusing on the Advisory committee.  In addition she serves as our District's representative in Region 8 and Camdenton's voting delegate in the Missouri School Board Association.  Like many of her colleagues on school boards, Nancy has attended many hours of MSBA special training sessions.  She has earned Master and Advanced member status among Missouri's Certified Board Members and in June 2017 will be recognized at the level of Distinguished Board Certification.  Very few school board members across Missouri have received this distinction. She was honored as a finalist for the MSBA Paul Morris Community Service Award in 2009 and 2013.  She served on a statewide committee on the Early Childhood Education section of the Missouri Vision Project for Public Education.

    Mrs. Masterson has served on the Camdenton R-III School District Education Foundation Board of Directors, the not-for-profit organization founded in 2000 by the Board of Education to manage and facilitate funds to promote the betterment of Camdenton students and staff.  She has been active in the past on various strategic issues committees throughout her tenure on the Board, most recently serving on the Building Committee for the two new elementary schools and for the past four years on the School Health Advisory Committee.

    Nancy is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education.  She taught at Jefferson Junior High in Columbia while working on a Master degree in Parks and Recreation, which led her to her current position as Park Superintendent at Ha Ha Tonka State Park.  She has worked for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks for 41 years.  Along with her dedication to the Camdenton School District, Nancy also serves on the Board of Directors of the Lake of the Ozarks Developmental Center, the Missouri State Park Employees Association, and the City of Camdenton Park Board.

    Nancy and her husband, John, have three graduates of Camdenton High School.  Jennifer Masterson Lindsay ('98) graduated from Missouri State University, works as a Human Resource Manager and lives in O'Fallon, MO with her husband, Toby, who is a middle school teacher and coach along with their daughter Payton.  Robert ('02) graduated from Drury University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry.  After completing a two year fellowship in Hawaii this summer, U.S. Army Major Masterson will be re-assigned to Fort Leavenworth in the fall of 2017. He and his wife Jill and daughter Camryn will be relocating to the Platte City, MO area.  Laura ('05) graduated from Drury University, received her Master Degree from Missouri State University, lives in Kansas City, MO and works in the Leavenworth Kansas School District where she is a Speech and Language Pathologist.

    Nancy enjoys spending time with her extended family, sewing, cooking, reading, and being out-of-doors.  She is a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.  Nancy and John enjoy traveling which often include visits to National Parks and Historic sites and have expanded their travels to include Civil War sites and many U.S. Presidential sites in recent years.

    Tom Williams is currently serving his second term on the Board of Education.  Mr. Williams is a graduate of Camdenton High School.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1994.

     Mr. Williams spent the first six years of his professional career at Bank of America working in retail branch management, small business lending, and human resources.  Mr. Williams has been employed by Lake Regional Health System since 2000 and is currently serving as the Vice President of Employee & Community Development.

     Mr. Williams is married to Sherrie Williams who is also a Camdenton High School graduate and they have three children who attended Camdenton Schools.  Abi is a graduate of Camdenton High School and is currently attending the University of Missouri and majoring in respiratory therapy. Carter is a graduate of Camdenton High School and is attending Missouri State University and majoring in business.  Hadley is a senior and is active in her church youth group.

     Mr. Williams enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and reading.  The Williams’ attend The Church at Osage Hills in Osage Beach.

    Laura Davis is in her first term on the Camdenton School Board.  As a speech-language pathologist at Lake Regional Hospital, she helps adults and children improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing function.  She completed a bachelor's degree at Kansas State University and a master's degree at the University of Kansas, primarily studying at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

     

    Mrs. Davis is the secretary of the Camdenton Band Booster Board.  At Lake Regional Hospital, she is a member of the stroke team.  She enjoys collaborating with other departments to build programs and to continuously improve patient care.

     

    Mrs. Davis is married to Jed Davis who works as a healthcare network manager for Vizient.  Her daughter, Kallie, is a senior at Camdenton High School and enjoys being a section leader in the trombone/baritone section of the Camdenton High School Band.  Kallie is starting her third year in science research and is working toward the International Baccalaureate Diploma.  Mrs. Davis' interests include walking/running, boating, working on home improvement projects, keeping up on current events, and taking care of the family pets.

    Jackie Schulte

    Jackie Schulte is currently serving her 2nd term on the board of education.  After earning her degree and certification in Paralegal studies, she worked for an architectural firm in St Louis managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.  The Schulte family relocated to the lake area in October of 2001.  Mrs. Schulte started a scheduling/planning company, which allowed her to stay home with her children.  In 2014 Mrs. Schulte took on a new career as CADV’s Volunteer Coordinator which allowed her to have an impact in her family's community.  Since Mrs. Schulte believes the future of our community depends on providing support and opportunities for our youth, she now serves as the intake/volunteer coordinator for Kids' Harbor in Osage Beach.   Mrs. Schulte has stayed current with board responsibilities by completing her Board Member training required by the Missouri School Boards’ Association (MSBA).

    Jackie has been married to Bart Schulte for 23 years.  Bart is with First National Financial Services.  They have three children who have attended Camdenton Schools.  Gabie graduated in the spring of 2016 and will be attending Truman State University in the fall.  She was active in the Pride of the Lake Marching Band.  Natalie will be a senior in the 2016/17 school year and is planning on attending college the following year and hoping to continue her soccer career at the collegiate level.   Gavin is in the eighth grade at the Camdenton Middle School.  He travels with a swim team and enjoys participating in Science research.

    Jackie spends her free time at sporting events and with her family.

    Courtney Hulett

    Courtney Hulett is currently serving his second term on the board of education.  Mr. Hulett is a native of Camdenton and a proud graduate of Camdenton R-III School District.  He received his degree in physical therapy from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1999 and returned to the Lake to work for Lake Regional Health Systems.  As area manager for LRHS, he has been involved in budget development, personnel management, and commercial construction and design.  He has also proudly served on the board of directors for Kids Harbor (a local child advocacy center) as a youth sports coach and is an active participant in numerous charitable events throughout the lake area.

    Mr. Hulett is married to Jessica and they have three children.  Cade, is a senior Camdenton graduate.  He enjoys basketball and water sports.  Lauryn is a junior at Camdenton and enjoys volleyball and youth group.  Tatum is five and eager to start her Laker career this fall.

    David Faiferlick is newly elected to the Camdenton Board of Education.  Mr. Faiferlick has lived at the lake area most of his life and is a graduate of Camdenton High School. After graduation, Mr. Faiferlick joined his father as partner in the family business, Missouri Furniture, and now serves as President of the company.

    Mr. Faiferlick is married to Karen Faiferlick, who is also a Camdenton High School graduate. They have four children who have graduated from Camdenton High School. Traci attended Missouri State University and is currently working for Central Bank in Jefferson City. Jordan graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in hospitality management and is working for Cerner in Kansas. Connor graduated from Truman State with degrees in chemistry and business and has joined the family business. Grant is currently attending Truman State and majoring in business and marketing.

    Mr. Faiferlick has two children who attend Camdenton Schools.  Reagan is a Freshman and she will be participating in band and swim. Nick is in the eighth grade and he will be participating in cross country and track.

    Mr. Faiferlick enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and volunteering in the community. The Faiferlicks’ attend the Church at Osage Hills in Osage Beach.

    Tori Risner is a senior at Camdenton High School and has been attending the district since second grade. She is an eighth generation to the Lake area.  She is involved in the IB program and is an A+ tutor and mentor. She is on the varsity tennis team and swim team. Tori is the daughter of Troy and Jennifer Risner.  She has two older siblings, Jaren Risner and Lauren Risner, who graduated from Camdenton.  Tori also has two younger siblings.  Carson Risner will be a freshman and Aiden Risner will be a sophomore this year.

    Drew Ellefsen currently attends Camdenton High School and has lived in Camdenton since 2009. He is President of the Student Council. Drew is also involved in National Honors Society, is an A+ tutor, runs track, and is in Science Research. Drew is the son of Mark and Andrea Ellefsen and has one younger sister, Paige Ellefsen, who also attends Camdenton High School. Drew enjoys spending time with friends, fishing, and traveling in his free time. As a future career Drew is interested in becoming a mechanical engineer.

    Linda Leu  has been Secretary to the Superintendent of Camdenton R-III Schools since August 2009. She also serves as Secretary to the Board of Education and Acting Secretary for the Education Foundation.  Previously Linda was Secretary to the Superintendent and Board at the Shelby County R-IV School District for 19 years.  Linda is a member of and past officer of the Camdenton Classified Employee's Association.
