Teacher of the Week 9-16-16

Jill Durnin, teacher at Camdenton Middle School, has been named Camdenton School District Teacher of the Week.  Jill Durnin has been an incredible asset to the beginning of our school year.  She has spent an incredible amount of time preparing our staff and students for our Area of Career Interest (ACI) selection date.  Our ACI fair should be the best one yet.  As a matter of fact, to make this experience more meaningful, she has created lessons for each staff member covering each of our career pathways for teachers to use during their Lakertime.  On top of these extra responsibilities, she has been impacting students in the classroom by creating mission and vision statements in her business class.  She mentioned that one of her students went home, whose parents happen to be business owners, and aided them in creating their own mission statement.  Teacher of the Week is sponsored by Smith Law Firm and recognizes teachers for positive contributions made to the Camdenton students and district.
