Hurricane Deck understands that use of technology in today’s world is a priority and we strive to introduce and develop basic computer skills in our students.

Your student comes to the Computer Lab for 25 minutes, twice a week.  Proper handling of the technology equipment, word processing, creation of presentations and internet usage for research and learning are practiced throughout the year.  

Third and fourth grade students use a keyboarding program one session a week to develop their keyboarding skills. 

The Computer Lab is also the central location for web based district assigned assessments in reading, math and English Language Arts throughout the year.
