• Reading Recovery® is a short-term, early intervention program designed for first grade students who would benefit most from individualized reading and writing instruction.  This program helps students build the reading and writing skills needed for literacy success.

Reading Recovery® instruction is provided on a one-to-one basis for 30 minutes each day.  During each lesson, the Reading Recovery® teacher and student read many books and write a story.  Together, we build upon the child’s strengths to develop new reading skills.  The primary objective of Reading Recovery® is to help children become skilled, independent readers within a short period of time.
