    The Camdenton Adult Learning Lab  has certified instructors — all available to help you reach your educational and  employment goals. Our  professional staff will work with you using a variety of formats and methods to make learning enjoyable and interesting.     

    Our detailed pre-assessment will help  determine a learning style and pace that works best for you. Instruction focuses on reading, math and writing skills improvement.  If you are 17-24 years of age, you may qualify for the Scholars at Work Program.

    The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education selected a new high school equivalency test that started January 2014 that replaced the previous test known as the GED.  The new HSE test is called the  HiSET® .  The HiSET® test  lets you demonstrate that you have attained the knowledge equivalent of a high school graduate.  It consists of five subtests that measure your knowledge in five core areas: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies.

    ORIENTATION SESSIONS 

    You must attend all three days.  

    9:00 a.m.-12 Noon or 5:30-8:30 p.m.
     
    February 21-23, 2017
    April 4-6, 2017
    May 9-11, 2017

    Orientation includes diagnostic testing, goal setting, & personal conference.  Call 573-346-9271 for information & to reserve a seat in orientation.

     
    The Lab Offers……

    Individual help in reading, math and writing skills, as well as High School Equivalency Preparation.  We are closed Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and the month of July.

    Daytime:

    Tue/Thur   9:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m.

    Lab:

    Tue/Thur   2:00—4:30 p.m.

    Evenings:

    Tue/Thur    4:30-8:00 p.m.
