    BUDGET UPDATE FOR 2017-2018

    An update regarding financial information from the Board Retreat in the Fall was shared with the Board.

    UPDATE ON FACILITY UPGRADE

    An update was provided from subcommittee members regarding progress on facility upgrades for the football field and the scoreboard.  A meeting with invited sponsors was held January 12, 2017.  At this time there is limited interest in sponsorship.  The subcommittee will meet and form a recommendation of possible next steps.

    This is an opportunity for the Board to report on upcoming meetings, meetings attended, registrations, and deadlines.

    ·         February Board Meeting tentative report:  Personnel Needs

    ·         MSBA Legislative Forum – February 14, 2017.  Registration will be submitted February 3, 2017.  Those planning to attend are Nancy, Selynn, Laura, and Tim.  Students registered to attend are Tara Poole, Emily Zaretzky, Darren Figgins, and Drew Ellefsen.

    EXECUTIVE SESSION

    In compliance with State Statute 610.021 (closed meetings and closed records), the Board went into Executive Session for the following purposes:

    1)      Leasing, purchase or sale of real estate by a public governmental body (610.021)(2).

    2)     Hiring, firing, disciplining, or promoting particular employees (610.021)(3).

    3)      Individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings, or records pertaining to employees (610.021)(13).

    4)       Records which are protected from disclosure by law.  (610.021)(14)
