Mrs. Ashli Eaves

I graduated with my B.S. in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University in 2008. My first teaching job was in my hometown of Sedalia, MO, where I taught 2nd and 3rd grade each for one year. I then transferred districts and taught 3rd grade for two years in Green Ridge, MO. While there, I worked on my Master's in Administration and received that degree in 2011 from William Woods University. My husband's job transferred us to the Lake in 2012 where I started that Fall at Hawthorn teaching 4th grade. I then decided to further my education in the field of gifted. So, I completed coursework through the University of Missouri to become certified in this area. I have now been in our Capstone Department for three years and LOVE it! I also currently hold the position as the Director of our District for the Gifted Association of Missouri (GAM) and have served on this board for three years. This organization represents the entire state and represents gifted programs and students across Missouri.

I live with my husband, Sean, and my son, Bennett, who attends preschool at Dogwood. We also have our rescue puppy, Maverick, who is a lab/coon hound mix. As a family we enjoy attending events and activities around the area. I enjoy working out and cooking as well as planning things!
