Teacher Education

Teacher Education provides students an opportunity to observe teaching and learning in Preschool through 12^th grade classrooms. Students are introduced to the requirements for teacher preparation and certification. Students will examine characteristics of effective teaching and be able to use skills learned to develop and deliver lessons. The course is designed to assist students in determining if a career in teaching is an appropriate goal. Students may take Foundations of Education concurrently with Teacher Education.
