·        Principal Communications: New building update: On Schedule. Mrs. Slack spoke about the discussion of boundaries to move further towards Y road. Not yet finalized. There is no plan to widen Nichols road for new school traffic, but there will be a turning lane. They are looking into doing a Google Earth of the area to show how traffic will flow in and out. Talked about having full time specialty teachers and a 2nd Secretarty. Leader in Me: Lighthouse training- Over 225 attended the parent nights hosted at the school. They have an idea to do another but adding a dinner and letting the students do public speaking and perform in the spring. They have started a Student Lighthouse Team it started this week and kids get to add their input throughout the school year like planning the Red Ribbon Week. There was a request that all the PTO events for the entire school year go out to all the parents.
