    MEET THE TEACHER

     

    Hi!  My name is Heather Hendon (Ms. Heather) and I am so excited to welcome your child to Laker Preschool!  It’s going to be a year full of learning and fun adventures.  I want to know all about your family, but first let me tell you about me.

     

    This is my 11th year at Camdenton and my 15th year in education.  I graduated from Monmouth College in Illinois with a teaching certificate in Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities.  I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education.

     

    I am married to my husband Matt.  He is a proud LAKER teacher too!  Our son, Alex, is in kindergarten.  We have lived in the lake area for 10 years and love this community!  I love working with young children!  They have a love of learning and are curious about everything around them.  It's exciting to be part of a child's first school experience.  

    In my spare time,     I love to cook, read books, take walks, visit with friends and family, and cheer on the LAKERS!
