I got my Associate's Degree in teaching at East Central College in Union, MO and my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Central Methodist University at Lake of the Ozarks in 2013. My family and I moved to Laurie, MO in 2012 (from Washington, MO).l My husband is a firefighter for the Gravois Mills' Fire District (which is what brought us to the lake). We have a beautiful two-year-old daughter named Hannah.

I am a first year teacher. I decided to go into teaching during my A+ tutoring in high school with my own Kindergarten teacher. I love seeing that "ah-ha" moment and the positive energy they share when my students are growing as learners and leaders.

My family and I love to spend time cooking, swimming, and reading together.
