Third Grade

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Drury College, in Springfield, MO.  I received my Master’s Degree from Lincoln University, in Jefferson City, MO.  I earned my Master’s Degree in the area of Elementary Counseling.  I have been teaching for twenty years.  I have taught Fourth, First and currently teach Third Grade.  I love to teach because I love kids and they make me laugh.  I believe I am young at heart and together with students; we make a great team.  Each day, I want to know that I made a difference in the lives of children.

 

In my spare time I enjoy watching my children play sports, reading, walking/jogging, fishing and scrapbooking.

My family consists of my husband, Matt, and three beautiful children.  Madison is a Junior this year and loves softball.  Carlee is in Seventh Grade and loves to learn.  Austin is in Second Grade and loves to fish and play all sports.

A little bit about me you might find interesting is we live on a farm.  We have three cats, one dog and six chickens.  We wake to the view of a big pond, geese, ducks and cows.

I would love to travel when I retire from teaching.  I dream of visiting and learning about cultures such as Australia, Paris, Italy, Ireland and Canada.

My guilty pleasure is sitting on the couch, watching Survivor, while I munch on popcorn!
