PTO projects for the 2012-2013 school year are: Dinner at the Deck, Teacher Help checks, Silent Auction, Teacher Appreciation week, Annual Carnival, Year books for all students and staff, Kindergarten graduation program, Reading programs, Field trips for all HDE students, Leader in Me training and the Iditarod Teacher Conference.
We are currently active in the box top, best choice and Campbells label programs.
PTO sponsors and distributes the Buzz book, with Vicki King heading up the project for us.
Our Fall fundraiser is the largest contributor to PTO funds and the Silent Auction is the second largest contributor.
We are always looking for volunteers!
